I remember when I first heard the phrase “Lifelong lifelong learning” from a passerby who was on the phone. I mused over it. Why didn’t he just say “Lifelong learning which we all know is a phrase that emphasizes the importance of continuous learning throughout one’s life.
It then dawned on me that lifelong lifelong is a repetition of the word “lifelong” to emphasize its meaning. It is used to describe something that is very important or enduring in a person’s life and may transcend learning. It can be , lifelong friendship, a lifelong passion, or a lifelong commitment.
The fellow said “lifelong lifelong learning” which i believe could also mean acquiring new knowledge and skills; it is also about developing a lifelong curiosity and a love of learning which is a secret ingredient for a happier, healthier life.
There are many benefits to lifelong lifelong learning. It can help us to:
- Stay ahead of the curve in our careers
- Adapt to changes in the world around us
- Maintain our mental and emotional health
- Improve our relationships
- Live more fulfilling and meaningful lives
There are different ways to engage in lifelong lifelong learning. We can take classes, read books and articles, watch online videos, attend workshops and conferences, or simply talk to people who know more about something we are interested in. We can also learn from our everyday experiences, both successes and failures.
The most important thing is to be open to learning new things and to find ways to make learning a part of our daily lives. Here are a few tips for you:
- Set aside time each day for learning. Even if it’s just for 15 minutes, reading a book, listening to a podcast, or taking a class can help you to keep your mind active.
- Find a learning buddy. Studying with a friend or colleague can help you to stay motivated and accountable.
- Join a learning community. There are many online and offline communities where people can come together to learn and share knowledge.
- Don’t be afraid to try new things. If you’ve always been curious about a particular topic, take a class or read a book about it. You may be surprised at how much you enjoy it.
